Alex Benik launches Encoded Ventures with $18M fund - Boston Business Journal

Alex Benik launches Encoded Ventures, an $18M early-stage VC firm focused on infrastructure software, after 22 years at Battery Ventures.
The initial fund from Benik, the fund's solo general partner, is $18 million. Benik made his first close for Encoded in April 2024 and his first investment in May that year. To date, the fund has invested in eight early-stage businesses.
