Israel Says It’s Developed Laser Weapon to Stop Missiles, Drones

Israel’s Defense Ministry on Wednesday said it completed the development of a powerful laser weapon that will become operational by the end of the year to bolster the country’s multi-level air defenses.

A low-cost, high-power laser-based system aimed at destroying incoming missiles has successfully completed testing and will be ready for operational use by the military later this year, Israel's Defence Ministry said on Wednesday.
