Cyber vs. Non-Cyber: Investments and Exits Move Together

It is always interesting to look at investments versus exit proceeds to gain another perspective on how healthy the tech ecosystem is. According to IVC Data and Insights & LeumiTech TechReview analysis in Q2/2025, this chart tracks more than a decade of Israeli tech M&A deals, comparing the amounts companies raised with the proceeds from their exits. The red dots represent cyber companies, and the blue dots represent all other sectors.

The analysis shows a clear pattern. Companies that raise more tend to exit for more. Cyber deals fall along the same upward trend but often achieve slightly higher exit values for similar investment levels, reflecting strong demand for cyber technologies.

The record funding years of 2020 to 2022 have not yet played out.
