Pittsburgh firms pioneer wireless charging for data centers and lunar missions, revolutionizing power solutions for enterprise and space exploration.

Blawnox-based Powercast Corp. has developed a wireless charging method for data center temperature monitoring, while North Shore-based Astrobotic is pushing for the technology to be used on the moon.

According to Powercast, the team-based collaboration with Powermat will rely on the former's engineering and productizations services to create wireless charging devices that are to be more convenient and sustainable for consumers.
